Welfarewell goes up in November at the Waterville Opera House in Waterville, Maine! Directed by Juli Brooks, Esmerelda and the jailbirds (yes, and that pesky lawyer lad, Alfred) will grace the stage for six performances November 9 to 11 and 16 to 18. Aqua City Actors Theatre (ACAT; how’s that for coincidence!) says on the website (www.operahouse.org) that: “Not since Steel Magnolias has there been a play of such warmth and humour with a largely female cast”! What a purrfectly delightful compliment!
